Space Sprites / Space Squid / Space Angels. Any Correlation to the Appearance of Tornadoes?

Today I watched a television episode of “Nasa’s Unexplained Files.” The episode was named “Mystery Space Squid” (Season 1, Episode 7, on Trvl Channel).

Apparently, as discovered during the Apollo VIII mission, these electrical phenomena (Space Sprites / Space Squid / Space Angels) occur above thunderstorms concurrently happening in our atmosphere/on the Earth’s surface – albeit the phenomena is unseen from the Earth’s surface.

This immediately made me wonder if the appearance of the Space Sprites / Space Squid / Space Angels have any correlation to the formation of tornadoes – tornadoes which also only sometimes appear to form with thunderstorms in our atmosphere.

I’m curious as to why such a possibility seems to have never been pondered by NASA or NOAA and/or other tornado research entities – with many of the tonado-research entities heavily funded by our tax-dollars. Maybe such thought is too far outside-the-box for the apparently paradigm-laden tornado researchers and NASA as well?

My Model Still Seems to Predict Tornadoes in the Heartland, Apparently

For whatever such is worth to blog – of which I have blogged for many years to date, my tornado prediction model again seemed to predict the recent tornadoes in Oklahoma, Texas, and Mississippi over the last couple of weeks or so.

My sympathies to those afflicted by the storms, of course.

The Latest Deadly Tornadic Storms of March 14 - 15, 2025

My sincere condolences to all of those afflicted by these latest deadly storms, of course.

But once again, my tornado-prediction model seemingly had predicted the subject deadly storms, as the ‘saints’ had not been ‘singing’ for at least a couple of days at that point (i.e.: prior to the appearance of the storms of approx. March 14 - 15, 2025, and those same storms that appeared throughout the south and eastern areas and portions of the Midwest of the Nation). Meaning that my tornado-prediction model had been predicting that tornadic storms were likely on their way to the Heartland.

Pick-Up Truck in a Tornado, or, Tornado in a Pick-up Truck – Tornado Research.

Fortunately, the driver not only reportedly walked-away, the driver drove the vehicle away. Such would surely make a great advertisement for the manufacturer of his pick-up.

If searched on-line or if one follows a link below, one can learn more of the pick-up truck driver’s story. Maybe I will try to reach-out to the driver for an interview, at some point in the future.

For my part, I drive around with a tornado inside of my pick-up truck – even if such is merely in a figurative fashion. Because, the tornado in my pick-up is a trademark of mine, of sorts – and it is posted on my rear window. Worth mentioning, about a week ago, my tornado-prediction model was trying to inspire me to post/blog (http://tornadotamer.blogspot.com/ ) of the likelihood of tornadoes to appear in the Heartland. Any such predicted appearance might subsequently form as a tornado in the time frame of a couple of days later than the likelihood of such being exhibited/predicted by my model. The model then could have been predicting the tornadoes which appeared about the time of the pick-up truck video from Texas.

Because, at the time of my observation, no saints could be heard singing nor were The Angels singing either. Unfortunately, I did not post about the likelihood of those tornadoes, as my time has been otherwise overly preoccupied of late. On a related note, I have taken some unofficial steps toward doing some official tornado research. I have teamed-up with a data-base computer expert who believes he can help me catalogue all the predicate/observed conditions of my model for the subsequent appearance of tornadoes in the Heartland. Such would allow for the ease of searching the data and comparison thereof after tornadoes have formed elsewhere. A data search which would then be easier to perform than reviewing my random blog entries. Someday, once a baseline established, we might pursue some grant monies or even some SBIR research funding. Time will tell.

Signals are still all-over the place

The signals are still all over the place, during this last couple of weeks or so. Different in ways I have never heard before. And, there has been a significant amount of tornadic activity during this same period of time. I dunno.

However, I have never had any real monitoring equipment. Therefore, I have no idea of the possible geographic limits of my hypothesized model - as some of these storms may be far north and south from the region that I try to monitor.

Maybe I'll get the chance to officially further this ad hoc research of mine in the not too distant future. Maybe there is a forward thinking university out there who would be willing to investigate some out-of-the-box ideas on the subject of tornado formation / tornado genesis. Time may tell.

Validation, Correlation, or Do I have the Answer?

An article in yesterday’s Los Angeles Times seemed to show a validation of my tornado-tamer theories of which I don’t usually explain in full. The article suggested that birds appear to have an innate tornado detector device. If anyone doesn’t understand the correlation or how this fact could be a potential validation of my tornado theories, just ask me.

Of course, I could have told you this about birds sensing potential tornadic energy anyhow, because of the couple of my high-school years that I spent in Iowa. Whenever there was a tornado warning, not a bird could be seen or heard anywhere. (Mind you, this was back in the days when tornado warnings were really something of significance because it meant a tornado was on the ground in the region – unlike many of the tornado warnings of today).

PS. I don’t ever really completely explain my tornado theories in full on the web because I don’t really know to what extent I am correct and I would prefer to officially research my ideas before I explain them; like..., to do otherwise might merely allow someone else with big-government backing to hijack my ideas and claim those ideas as their own (as did another university to which I applied a few years back for PhD studies, their efforts were to no real success for them – because they didn’t really understand what research I was proposing, I’m sure). Know what I mean? I worked for the government for over 15 years and many a coworker was all too happy to steal my ideas. But I didn’t mind back then because I was being paid to develop those ideas, or so I rationalized anyhow. But I will completely spill the beans on my theories soon enough, whether or not I get to research them with any real equipment or financial backing. Though I will soon probably pursue funding on kickstarter.com or the likes if I am not admitted for PhD studies in the interim.

The Storm Approaches.

December 12th, 2014 at 0100 hours, PST.

With the approaching low pressure system, I was surprised to hear SB pushing through at the less than ideal listening spot. SD was essentially not to be heard but in very rare trace amounts at this same location wherein SD would typically be the stronger signal. The matter seems counter-directional too, according to the weather map of the evening news - in that it would seem that no directional forces would be in play to make this situation appear. Either I need to watch this closer or find a better television weather map and/or better predictions from the televised computer generated weather model. I am curious to know what would be at locations of greater pressure variations/pressure swings.
