It’s All About the Middle.

May 27th, 2015

While much seems to have returned to normal – at last check of a little while ago, oddly enough there seems to be somewhat of a turf-battle going on across the middle.  This even seems so at the place of the green sticks too.  Vague generalities can be fun!  :)

Weird Again.

May 25th, 2015

Signals are weird and weak still again tonight.  SD barely coming through but does somewhat weakly come through on low end but is stepped on across the middle by SB from moment to moment.  With the passing low and the high approaching, I wonder if it’s all a directional type of thing at the lesser listening spot.  But I am beginning to think that there is another variable involved of which I don’t know or understand.

Maybe, Maybe Not.

May 20th, 2015

While the signals seemed to be coming back to normal strength yesterday, they now sort of seem the same as they have been the last few days or longer.  Though SB is stronger in the less preferred spot, SD is still barely to be heard. With the approaching lows yet again, it could be a directional matter – albeit of the opposite direction than the counter directional on-goings of a week or so ago.  Hope it’s not another week to come like the last week for the nation’s Heartland, regardless.

Climbing the Lows

May 17th, 2015

As of last night and while surrounded by low pressure systems and while also underneath somewhat of a passing high pressure ridge (according to television weather reports), the signals were still somewhat weak and weird, as they have been for much of the last week or so.  More tornadoes are still pummeling the Heartland during these last several days as well.  I am again curious if I am merely re-inventing the wheel, so to speak.  But I don’t think so and maybe even my discounting of local storms might be in error too – at least as any general rule.  Either way, several different low pressure systems seem to be lined up to come ashore – almost as if they were airplanes lining up to approach the runway at LAX airport.  So it will be interesting to see what becomes of everything over the next several days or so.

Just Weird.

May 13th, 2015 (Early A.M.)

The signals are just weird this evening/morning.  Maybe not scary weird; but then again, maybe.  The saints are stepping on one another nearly moment to moment.  Thereafter, their songs can fade away or appear in some of the oddest combinations – at least at the less-than-optimal listening spot.  Maybe it’s nothing withstanding the norm, of course.  But maybe…, then yet again, maybe the signals and songs prefer to be heard in a fashion that I would consider to be counter-directional to any directional-type atmospheric forces – which could make sense in a nonsensical type of way.   :)   Then again…, then again…, yet again…, with the back-to-back low pressure systems to the north, maybe it’s all not counter-directional at all.
