Signals have gone full circle

March 10th, 2013

From incoming highs and lows over a time frame of the last week and a half or so, SB and SD have gone from strong to weak to strong in nearly all possible combinations of variables. Weak when should be strong (from a day or so ago).  Strong when should be weak. Weak when should be weak. And, strong when should be strong – as the signals seemed to appear this evening.

Then Again…

February 26th, 2014

Then again, as of this afternoon, it seems all is pretty much somewhat normal.  SB is maybe even stronger than usual – as the low has not quite arrived.  Maybe any variations last night/early this morning were merely a directional type of influence.  .

Choatic and Weakened

February 26th, 2014

I went out and about this early AM, the signals were chaotic and definitely weakened.  This is maybe to be expected with the approaching low pressure storms – as reported on weather reports.  Not sure how it all compares with the current pressure readings, however (30.05, steady/falling).   I am looking forward to taking snapshots over the next few days as the two storms arrive onshore.

Strong Again.

February 21st, 2014

SD has been really clear today and this evening.  Given the slow moving/stalled high pressure system that finally seems to be moving-on of late, maybe I should have given more credence to the relatively weakened signals during the last few days.  Maybe I need to go on kickstarter.com to raise some money for a permanent data acquisition system to measure and compare passing signal strengths.  In actuality, I think any monitoring equipment may not be as expensive as securing a good location to station the equipment for use.

It could be that the system that struck in the Heartland today/yesterday did not come ashore here, of course.  But from the weather map, it looks as though it could have.

Never as Expected Anymore, it Seems.

January 19th, 2014

So I went out late last night to take a snapshot measurement of the signals.  It seems that the signals of late never cease to amaze me, at least to some degree.  That is, the signals seem to never quite be what I would have otherwise expected them to be.  As such, I am always left to wonder if whether I don’t know what I am doing (which is possible, of course) or rather if maybe something weird is going-on to which I am not aware.
