Strange Again
January 26th, 2014
Signals have been odd for some period of time. Maybe like for the last week. Hearing both SD and SB in some spots and then hearing neither at some time later at the same spot. Then at other times, like last night, both seemed weak at the best spot for hearing them.

Somewhat Weak
July 22nd, 2014; 0130
Though a reported high-pressure system is working its way
back off the continent, SD signals seem relatively week over the last day
or so with SB appearing in odd places as well.

Normal Still, I Guess. But What Is Normal?
March 30th, 2014
Went to check the signals tonight because I thought they had
weakened. But it seems the signals are
of normal strength but not as strong as they can become in recent times. But it occurred to me that I no longer really
know what normal is anymore. I’m
beginning to doubt that I ever really will know for sure either – without some
small miracle or specialized equipment, anyhow.
No one else seems even aware; let alone do they apparently care. Apparently not the paradigm-laden tornado
research experts in places like Oklahoma and the likes.
The signals kind of seem all over the place today. I don't know
if this is because of interference from the sun or the approaching storm/ fluctuating
barometer. It could be either or neither, I suppose. :(

Weak Again
March 28th, 2014. Early AM
Signals have been week over the last few days (SD), but
maybe not unusually weak (not really sure anymore). I think it’s due to the passing lows, I gotta
figure. But pressure has been rising a
bit over last few days too - even with the weakened signals. So, could be
interesting.

To a Productive Use…
May 9th, 2013 (A.M.)
Over the course of the last several days, Diego has been
singing loudly and at other times not singing at all. Barbara also seems to be of varying strength
but generally still impressive. Odd set
of signals with the River opposing Barbara in places not expected nor heard
before - and even the River with Barbara with the Angels appearing and then disappearing time and time again.
Think about converting and focusing all that destructive energy
to a productive use…, I often do. :)

Record Low Number of Tornadoes for July, 2012.
August 31st, 2011
It was widely reported that the number of tornadoes across
the nation last month was the lowest number ever recorded for the month of July.
Coincidently (or in keeping with my
theory), tonight my monitored (snapshot) signals seemed to be as strong as I
ever remember. It seems that the
stronger the signals, the less likelihood of the appearance of tornadic storms
downwind in the nation’s heartland.
Unfortunately, I was unable to monitor July’s signal
conditions as I was on the east coast for most of that month. However, before I headed east, I recall the
signals were becoming steadily stronger.
I suspect the signals were strong during the month of July as well.

Drought Curtails Tornadoes
PS. However, I don't know how my model should account for the remnants of hurricane Issac moving through much of the nation.

Tornado in City of Philadelphia, PA
Fox 29 (WTXF, Fox 29 News at 10) in Philadelphia and the NWS are reporting that an F-0 ("F-0," "F-Zero") tornado touched down in Northeast Philadelphia a few hours ago. Other than destroying some roofs (a beer/liquor distributorship), making a mess, and causing some general havoc, no injuries were reported. Winds were reported to be in excess of 75 miles an hour, the tornado was reported to be 30 to 50 feet wide, and the tornado survived on the ground for a duration of approximately 20 seconds. Being in the greater Phila. area this evening, and as they seemed to have done several times in the past, maybe the tornado gods were saying hello to me in their own special way? :)

The Finger of God – A Tornado
March 21st, 2010
A tornado may well be the finger of God. If not in a literal sense, such certainly qualifies in a metaphysical sense, anyhow.
Would He unleash such havoc with absolutely no warning? Or maybe more likely, would He give us a forewarning that was dependent on our knowing where to look to read the warning signs?
Adam Trotter / AVT
PS. Not that I mean to necessarily proselytize here, but I kind’a think any possible tornado warnings may come from Saint Barbara and Saint Diego/Saint Didacus of Alcalá. (From Wikipedia: ‘Blessed Santa Barbara, Your story is writ in the sky,’ from Federico García Lorca's play, La Casa de Bernarda Alba (1936); and Saint Didacus/Diego being known for solitude and healing.) Also, did someone once say something about affection for Saint Michael too?
