March 28, 2018, Wednesday morning.
I have been away a lot and unable to consistently listen to
the signals. As such, my interpretive
powers could be a bit out of practice.
Also, after my last post I was reluctant to post again about the
weakened and odd signals I observed last weekend. But my prior blog entry taught me something
about passing storms, a question of which I have often blogged. (Someday I hope to get some permanent
equipment that would be able to listen and even interpret the signals for me –
constantly and automatically.)
However, today’s storms and tornado warnings in the
south-central and midwestern states again reminded me to blog – which I
intended to do this past Sunday morning/evening. Last weekend, I noticed what I would consider
to be odd signals (Saturday and Sunday nights), with St. Gabriel nearly
dominating the band. However, St.
Barbara could be heard (somewhat in some places) and St. Diego was mostly much
weaker than the norm – if heard at all. Which
is typically not a good sign.

PS. By the way, no
worries. My website will be back up
again soon – with any luck, anyhow.
