What is Tornado Tamer?

Among other things, it is nearly an anagram.   :)

(When I visited Italy, the locals would call me 'Adamo,' which would make for an exact anagram.)

Kickstarting on the Side

July 29th, 2014

I am away from my Tornado Taming stomping grounds for the indefinite future. But I would have been interested in what the sky was doing during that lethal lightening strike at Venice Beach of a couple of days ago or so, nevertheless.  My sympathies and condolences to the victims.  The tornado in Revere Mass. also would be of interest to know what was going on  - but may not have contradicted anything I was noticing a few days or so ahead of it all - but the Revere tornado may not be under my purveyance anyhow with my model.  I don't really know - but maybe I'll check it out if I make it there before too long.  (See: http://theultimateroadtripamericac2c.blogspot.com/  , I'll include a North Shore blog entry before too long.)  But to this end of studying this hypothesized correlation and atmospheric phenomena, I think I may look to go to kickstarter.com to see if I can get some monitoring equipment to study my hypothesized correlation in a more scientific manner.

Somewhat Weak

July 22nd, 2014; 0130

Though a reported high-pressure system is working its way back off the continent, SD signals seem relatively week over the last day or so with SB appearing in odd places as well.

Reinventing the Wheel or New Correlations?

July 18th, 2014; 0130

So after a day of strong signals in addition to turf-wars across the middle by all three, tonight the signals have reverted back to varying from strong to weak and mainly remain on the weaker side – at least from this evening’s not preferred monitoring location.  Unsure if directional wind factors are prevailing.  For yet again, this all would seem contrary to what would be expected given the conditions – but it was a particularly clear day today ( / yesterday, Thursday, the 17th).

Ultimately, until I get some full-time monitoring equipment, I don’t really know if I am merely reinventing the wheel or not, with my studying of the signal strengths and factors thereof.  However, one thing of which I am nearly totally sure/confident is that no one else has ever seemed to look at the particular correlation of which I blog.  I think that is weird, given all the billions of dollars given to the tornado researchers in places like OK, and the likes, to study the phenomena of tornadoes.  I also think it’s weird that the tornado researchers have never seemed to even be remotely interested in those ‘thinking-outside-the-box’ or with differing paradigms and differing ideas on the subject.

It takes open minds to learn new things.  Of this I’m fairly sure.

Fluctuating

July16th, 2014;  0130

Signals seem to be fluctuating this evening, even wildly at times.  SD heard in and then out almost by the moment. Nothing across the middle.  High system pressing back off the landmass – bringing some moisture and disturbances too at times.  Unsure if directionally related incident(s) or merely localized disturbances or something maybe of interest here – because it seems like all should be louder/clearer/more consistent.  Will try to go to better spot to listen tomorrow night.
