The signals have been weaker this evening than what is ‘normal’
of late despite the fact that the pressure is rising. However, if a high pressure system is
approaching such could explain the weaker SD signals and the concurrent strong SB
signals with the specifics merely being of a directional nature. It should be
noted that the ‘weakened signals’ of which I blog are not nearly as weak as
days of yore when I first noticed weak signals despite no approaching storm
which would seem to predate storms in the Heartland. But back in those days I did not chronicle
any unusual signals as I was then first becoming aware of the phenomena or any
potential correlation be it merely perceived or otherwise. Nevertheless, the
signals this evening are weakened with the pressure rising.
