February 13th, 2015.
This latest on-going scenario could well prove to be of
interest (on-going as of last night anyhow). But I’m not sure because it
all could have been a directional thing.
I am also not sure where the high pressure system is actually located so
not sure which way the winds may have been blowing when I checked last night. But SD seemed particularly weak – though maybe
not excessively weak. With the high
pressure overhead or slightly to the east, this would seem as though it should
not be the case. But SB was relatively
strong, so it could all have been a result of the location of the passing high
pressure system. So again, it could all
be a result of a directional force.
Otherwise, this could prove to be an interesting scenario – but not sure
with the odd weather systems already over the Heartland. Either way, I’ll go listen again this evening.
But alas, in the interim between the above paragraph and
this one, I went to listen from a less-than-desirable listening point and it
seems all is returning to normal, maybe, more or less. Nevertheless, this is what I am interested in
most. That is, when there is a glitch in
various magnetic signatures (if you will) and its duration and whether there is
any follow-on severe weather elsewhere.
I will re-check it all again a little later this evening.
So say hello, if you interested to hear more or relay your
own ideas on the matter. :)
