From Chelsea, a High School Student Volunteering at the Laramie Public Library

April 14th, 2013

A few days ago, I received an email from an individual at the Laramie Public Library (http://laramiepubliclibrary.net/index.html).  The email stated that Chelsea, a high school student assistant/volunteer at the library, was hoping I would post on my website the following tornado preparedness information that she had located as part of the library's tornado preparedness effort.  The tornado preparedness effort is being undertaken by the library for the well-being of its community.

The link Chelsea forwarded to me::

Tornado Protection and Survival Guide

What Is A Tornado?

Until I am able to again update my website (www.tornadotamer.org), I decided to post Chelsea's link here.  I trust she will be content with such until I am again able to update my website in a few weeks or so.

Nice job, Chelsea!  Thanks for your compassion and concern for others who might find themselves confronted by the unpredictable and potentially lethal force of a tornado. I'm sure your community is greatly enriched to have one as thoughtful as you as a member!  Your concern for the well-being of others is very admirable!

Thanks again, Chelsea!

  1. It is nice to hear about one of the good kids in the world, and there are many. Problem is no one wants to hear the nice things, most people want to hear about the bad things that happen. There are alot of unhappy people.
