August 4th, 2009
On NBC’s Today show for Saturday, August 1st, 2009 (if I’m not mistaken), the weather person warned of the potential of isolated tornadoes throughout the northeastern United States. And oddly enough, the previous day a family member of a friend living in Southern New Jersey believed that a tornado had touched down on his property due to the excessive damage caused by a passing and vicious thunderstorm. Furthermore, while driving through the Pine Barrens region of South Jersey, several uprooted trees lined the road. This blogger had to wonder, was such the result of a tornado as well?
